Internally Threaded and Threadless
We recommend Internally Threaded jewellery, or Threadless jewellery, either 14Kt Gold or Implant Grade Titanium.
S.Steel is only recommended for healed piercings: it is a material that can decay over time, unlike Implant Grade Titanium and 14Kt Gold!
An externally threaded jewellery is not the best option for your piercing.
External threads are harsher on the piercing channels, and these jewellery do have a lower quality in material &/or polish.
At the studio, for initial piercings, we solely offer internally threaded titanium or internally threaded 14Kt Gold jewellery options.
These are the best to heal with. We also stock Threadless jewellery, for healed piercings.
